The Philanthropy of Roberto Banke

Roberto Banke is a firm believer in the need to enhance the welfare of others. As a result of his religious studies he feels that his life has changed immensely for the better. Therefore, he uses his greater happiness and increased abilities to help others experience similar improvements.

In all of his charitable activities, Roberto generates goodwill for organizations and individuals that are dedicated to improving our world. He supports positive organizations with both his own hard work and his financial contributions.

Roberto also wants to make sure children are well-educated and learn sports and trades so they have a better chance of living successful lives.

What follows is a summary of Roberto’s philanthropic endeavors.

Scholarships

For the last seven years, Roberto has paid for the college education of students in the Philippines. Some of the students he has supported have now graduated from college and taken up professional careers. They, in turn, can help other students succeed.

Dental Care for the Underserved

In coordination with Rosy Dental staff and patients, Roberto has organized multiple trips to Haiti and Vietnam to provide dental care to those who have no access to a dentist. Dental care for those who lack this resource can mean the difference between severe pain or comfort, and between serious illness or good health.

Community Outreach

Roberto’s community team meets with police and fire department employees of many nearby communities every year to relay Roberto’s thanks for all they do for the community and to provide a most-welcome supply of donuts. Roberto also engages other businesses in cooperative projects to raise the spirits of families in their neighborhoods.

Scouting

As an assistant Scoutmaster for Fountain Valley, Roberto assists Scouts in earning badges, helps plan and run special events and raises funds for the troop.

Improving Community Conditions

Roberto works with a local church to inspire people to participate in self-improvement. He is also involved in projects to distribute self-improvement materials and improve community relations with city governments, the police, fire department and schools.
